What can I say - You have to have this to make the machine work. Rinses well, takes a while to dry. Buy it a Home Depot cheaper....

A Clean Filter Makes a World of Difference

I waited too long to replace the filter for my Hoover FloorMate. I didn't realize what a difference it would make in the performance of the water pick up function.

If there are FloorMate owners out there who've notice a decline in the water pick up function, try replacing the filter.

Great filters

The filter for my Hoover Floormate was getting dirtier and dirtier. I had washed them many times but it was time to get a new one. Imagine my surprise that the stores did not carry that particular filter. After numerous phone calls I decided to check the net. I found them here at Amazon, great price, fast service!
